The master plan for the Charlotte greenway includes greenway trail and what looks like park space which may impact some of BYT.  There is a meeting today from 4:30 to 7:30 at the government center (see link below). Drop in and share your love for the trail system to help protect it from development.

We are going to loose a little bit but all 3 sides ( FB. PRP.  MD )  will connect. Then we also are going to gain some property further down to add in. This extra piece will be used for something a little different. All in good time. We have had many meetings with parks and everything is fine. Don't worry just come to meeting to show your support for the cross town trail. They will never develop the property unless it is for plant expansion.

Looks like a great project.  Glad to hear both from the trailblazers and from the fine folks I talked to last night that there was a partnership effort to integrate the greenway and trails in an appropriate manner.

Looking forward to the full development of the system, as a montclaire resident who works in the university area it will be quite the treat if I'm able to bike along a greenway all the way up to the office.  Current route options are less than appealing.
