Thanks for the heads up.  That tree has been cut off the trail, along with the sinister little one on the volleyball loop, not too far past the exit of the Gully loop.

Let me just take a second to say that the trail work and maintenance at Renni the past month or so has been freaking exceptional.

The connector trail (never my favorite) is in the best shape I've ever seen it and the Softball Loop (such as it is) rides better than ever. The whole "softball loop" rides like the short track.

Question - is what's left on the softball side protected? All that remains is firmly within the bounds of park land? Or might we lose what little is left?

Anyway, Gonzo, Delta 1, well done.  Cool

Trekker,
Thanks for the props.  Gonzo arranged the work day where that dip on the connector got filled in.  it was the dip that slowed everyone down, a lot...  So, the connector should be somewhat faster and more fun.

As far as the softball side, I don't know where City property ends.  hopefully we don't loose much more trail.

Thanks for the comments, Trekker, and a huge thanks to delta1 for clearing those trees this past weekend.  I was out of town and it's great to know that you're there to keep the trail clear.  Renni is a great trail and I'm pretty excited to be a part of it.  We've had some awesome TC's in the past out there from Freddy, John, and Blair and probably a few others that I'm missing, and the work they have done in the past makes the job a lot easier for us now.  What's left on the softball side is safe, and hopefully I will be adding some fun optional lines in there in the future.  Right now, I am focusing on maintenance and when the weather cools off, I will start into those items or other possible additions on the connector trail and tennis court side.  Keep an eye on the down and dirty tab for future work days and thank you to everyone for the help you have already given and I look forward to working more with you all.

I have reason to believe that the squirrels are mocking me.
