ORAMM SPOT FOR SALE

I had a grade 3 shoulder separation 7 weeks ago. Thought I could still maybe make the race, but it's not looking like my shoulder will be ready (or my legs). I will sell for $120 plus transfer fee. The transfer deadline is July 18th. PM if you are interested.

OT:
Grade 3 separation and no surgery?  I had a 2+ for which I had the surgical repairs done...Damn you were thinking about racing after a grade 3??
Wow...

after the procedure it took me MONTHS to get back to "normal" and I would say a year for me back to 100%.

They ended up letting me transfer to the Jerdon Mountain race the day before ORAMM.  It was only around 26 miles.  Went pretty well, but I was very tentative and of course my legs weren't ready for the climbs.  The downhills really hurt my shoulder. Ended up 34 out of 148.  I guess not too bad considering I've been off the bike for two months.

I'm planning to have it repaired in the late fall.  More than anything, it looks disgusting.  I've actually had people almost get sick when they see it with my shirt off.  It (clavicle) apparently has no connection (hence grade 3) with my acromio-clavicular joint.

I seperated one pretty good. Had to carry my arm around for a few days. Big  knot appeared instantly. After several years, it has gone down some but I still have a nasty knot there. Good thing is, I heard you wont break your collar bone when you fall again. I have since taken a few spills and it seems to re introduce itself when I do. I went to the gym and started doing a bunch of push/pull type excersies on the machines after a week. Just going thru the motions helped a bunch and eventually it got strong again.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.
