Uwarrie ride today.

I went out and rode uwarrie this morning and I have to tell you that I cant believe how fast that place dries out. I picked up quite a lot of sticks off the trail today and the creek crossings had about a 1/2 inch of standing water in them. The forest rangers have done a little bit of work on the trail where the fire was and looks like they will be doing a little more. I got out after a pedal strike and a over the bars incident so I did not get a chance to ride super tree or white tail had to push/coast out. Got my knee and other parts pretty good. I also took out many webs along the way. I have never seen red spiders like that. I had webs all over my fork arch and cables. Again that place dries out really quick. Go ride it!!

URE has a special breed of spiders. I've never seen webs that course or thick anywhere else

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

I have heard this is a good place to try out.  I've been to the OHV trails in Uwharrie, but have never been to the mtn bike trails.  Does anyone have a physical address or locaton I can reference to get to the trailhead?  I'd like to go check it out.
