Same boat here. Letting my fiance get comfortable on her bike before we go the gravel path and eventually lake loop. I'm glad they created it so I can get her started on something better than the paved, completely flat greenways.

You folks who have an SO whose skills are not quite ready for the Lake Loop at WWC... you are not alone. I highly recommend taking your SO to SWDP... it's a real trail (not a gravel path), but easy enough for absolute beginners.

Be advised... no beer sold in the parking lot. You would need to bring your own.
