October 3 is the Trips for Kids annual Take a Kid Mountain Bking Day. The kick off is at 8 AM to set up at Sir Francis Beatty Park. Volunteers needed to ride with the kids around the park as they break into groups of 10 to 15. There is fun and FOOD. Come out and help with this worthwhile event. Share some of your skills with these exciting, enthusiastic young people. Respond here if you will be there.

Thank's for the link posting...yea, while offering a condensed version of what was originally planned, has possible chances of being bigger. The City of Belmont put it on their site... Shocked  Plus, two of our female riders aren't able to make for work obligations. If anyone has any Dirt Diva connections or wives/friend girls that ride, ALL are welcome as this is everyone event! Plus, might not seem as threatening for the younger female crowd to see female mountain bikers out there as well. I'll be there around 0845 for set up, course walk through...Meeting directly at trail head.
