Is Rocky River Trail really open today? If so. How is it? It's a bit of a drive for me, but cabin fever is hitting me hard. Need to get out and ride.

It's all on a pretty good hill side so I can see how it would be open based on the fact that water will flow downhill when it has the opportunity.  Rain gauges are showing less out that way from what I can see.  The trail status was also marked open this morning at 10:30 so I would say that's a definite YES.

On the other end of town... Rocky Branch was e'fing perfect.  My first time out there and I think I have found my WWC alt.

Once again I've cleared all the trees that I know of that were down. Seems that's turned into an everyday job.

One of the neighbors is having a continuing issue with riders ending up in her yard. Says it happens several times a week. She called me this afternoon with 4 riders looking for the parking lot. Now to get to her house about a quarter mile has to be ridden down a blue stone gravel road that is obviously not a bike trail. The only way I can see that happening is after completing stairway a road is crossed that if you turn left will take you back to parking lot 2 rights would get you down the wrong way. The trail goes straight across and is marked with arrows. I will make additional signs to clarify this intersection. The recent right of way clearing under the power lines may of led to additional confusion. Anyway help me to prevent this issue she approached me quite nicely.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Thanks for your work out there watcher the trail was perfect. It is one of my favorites and totally worth the long drive.

ChosenOne: Rocky Branch on that side of town is definitely a hidden gem. It has some fun features and a climb that seems like it should be out at RRT  Wink

Agree with the comments on the trail.  Thanks for all your work out there Watcher.  Love the climbs, the flow, and natural obstacles on this trail.
