Hey guys,  I'm gonna take my daughter out to URE for a camping trip this weekend.  Do a little riding (very little, I'm as injured as she is inexperienced), maybe some hiking.  Looking to keep it really tame.  I'm very familiar with the MTB trails, but have never camped there.  I've seen people camping near the toilets and on some other locations further past the gates up Wood Run Rd.  I know a lot of you guys camp there, are there any other places that would be convenient to the road, but maybe slightly off the beaten path that we can pitch a tent/hammocks?  Open to recommendations.  Thanks!

I also camp at Morrow Mtn St park.....15 minutes from the trail.  Especially if you are taking your daughter, there is a decent heated bathroom/shower house, which is nice on the cold nights and mornings......try to stay close to the bathroom on section C which has electric at the campsites.  Should not be hard to get electric sites this time of year.  You also go by a gas station about 1-2 miles from the trail that has breakfast and sandwiches.

There is a field on the right as you drive in to the start of Keyauwee. Woodrun actually runs behind this field. That is my favorite place to camp on site. Plenty of room for tents, a fire pit, closet to the "bathroom", and trail access right out of the tent... When I have stayed out there its been only me and coyotes for the most part.

Keep in mind that it is hunting season so wear bright clothing and burn a flashlight walking around at dawn/dusk .Bring a few gallons of water and a comfortable chair too.

I've seen tents right in the woods by the toilet at woodrun camp right by the trail head. Just remember tp!
