When,where and time? Just poking the hive with a stick! 4 inches in 2 days at BYT rain gauge. 4.25 at Sherman gauge anybody else have rain totals?

Rain gauge at RRT has 3 1/2". Anyone is welcome to ride with the stipulation that you have to ride the 2 sections that can be bypassed! Give me a heads up so I can watch you go under. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) Link to river level.

BYT should be fine by Sunday but if it's not lets do an urban ride.  10am?  That way we can be back in time to watch the panthers go to 15-0.  Did you see that one of Atlanta,s running backs is in the conclusion protacall?  Apparently he slipped in the shower.

Did Uwharrie.  Connector trail was fine after I moved some downed stuff.  Rode Kayauwee to the creek.  The creek was a little deeper than I wanted, so I turned around.

Rode Uwharrie this afternoon.  Gravel grind up the road to the Supertree cut off. Rode Super Tree back to the truck. Yes it was wet. But it was not SOUPer Tree. Ed is doing some good stuf out there. It will be more machine built trail but there are some nice features going in. 
It certainly beat riding the trainer in the living room.  Wink

If there is no rain tonight RRT will open tomorrow. Taking both bypasses will be a must. Trail looked good some draining water at the normal spots. Regular riders know what to expect. Really surprised the erosion didn't look bad except at the kiosk where a ground bridge filled with leaves and turned water out into the drive.

Uwharrie was fine. Tom I think I saw your tracks yesterday. Trail is in great shape a few small trees down. That place dries so fast! Still a little wet but you won't leave any tracks and the creek crossings were normal. I saw where Ed is working and he seems to be almost done. Passed by the machines on supertree and he is fixing drains and such. I have worked with Ed in DuPont a couple of times when I lived in Hendersonville. He should do a great job! New trails were taped off probably waaaayyyy to new and soft to ride. One trail goes in fairly quickly on the left and pops out right next to dutchmans creek and again on the right side further on up the gravel road.
