Does anybody ever go to South Mountain as an alternative when it is nasty or the freeze/thaw is in full effect? Looks like a butt load of climbing Grin

There is quite a bit of climbing @ SM!  The loop is abt 18.5 mi and it's all dirt/crushed gravel w/a short paved section 3/4 thru that has the steepest section of road I've ever ridden.  Good times...

You were not kidding, holy guacamole  Shocked what I got was crushed. 32x18 said "no Bueno for sheit" for this old man and reminded me what it was to hike a bike. Still a lot of snow up there....some of the double track still had a solid 4-6in. Made for some fun times  Grin
