Greg, Emily, and I built a 32 Foot Bridge at the Entrance to the connector Trail to get through the Swamp.

That is AWESOME. As someone who rides Renni regularly, I thank you all (many times have I come flying out of the parking lot only to have to mash the brakes in the face of a huge puddle of muddy, stagnant water). No more spending the rest of the ride with wet feet.

There is another swampy section a little farther down the connector that is currently kind of like a big bowl of peanut butter with a bunch of sticks laying in it. I am sure you know of it. It's next on our list. It will likely be a couple of weeks before we can get back out there but look for it to be fixed soon too.  Wink

I know exactly where you are talking about (the trail dips down among some scraggly pine trees and you can smell the methane from the old landfill underneath - anything that gets us through there faster is a good thing). Post up the workday and PM me if you would - if I'm around I'll lend a hand.
