SWDP Trail Status

I just spent the morning at SWDP with a blower and saw. There were several trees down... one needed the saw, the others were draggable. Bigger issue was the sheer volume of deadfall from the storm. I must have removed hundreds in the 1" to 3" range.

Trail is now clear and actually in pretty good shape. Still some water draining, but with the leaves off and the wind blowing it should dry out quickly.

Unless it rains more, I will open it tomorrow morning.

Nice work.  After yesterday I was thinking about how much a disaster the trails will be the next few days till all is cleared.  A few good size trees went down in my neighborhood...one in my neighbors yard.

Trail is open, but you will run into some slop still. Enjoy!  Smiley
