THe trail is starting to get fast again. Hopefully it will continue this direction for the rest of the year.

That is all.

I'll look for them tomorrow and let you know if I find them.

For a beautiful day sure didn't see a soul in the few hours I was working.

Someone did leave a note on the board at the kiosk. Stating that needed a map. Seems they took the green loop and couldn't find there way back to the main loop. They requested a map be put on this site. Sorry for the mix up. There is a link to a map on the trails page by clicking on the map and appropriate link. Please come back and give it another try.

Hey there Steve, looking for a new place somewhere close to the trail. Wondering if the Myers's residence is available for rent by chance? Grin
Trail was prime today!

So that was me asking for the map.  Loved the trail but took green loop and somehow missed a bunch a miles.  I will definitely come back.  Is the green loop a separate loop that returns to the Main loop?  I think I should have turned right instead of taking the lesser travelled cut through back?   I got confused at that point.

The green loop is roughly a 4mile loop that bypasses a bunch of trail and all the hard climbs (you only have to climb the 2nd part of gorge).  There are also "Wet bypasses" which you should take after real heavy rain.

Think of the green loop as a series of shortcut loops.

The trail is not that hard to follow but it is better if you go with someone the first time that can show you the green trails, wet bypasses, etc.  I'd be happy to show you around sometime.  You do it one time you wont have any problems finding your way.

Thanks guys.  I'll avoid the green loop next time.  I was bummed I missed the monster climbs I read about!  Hoping to get out there this weekend if rain holds off.   I generally ride Sherman so was too accustomed to the side loop concept rejoining main.

Didn't seem that fast when I went out there the other night.  The motor on my bike must need a tuneup.

Went back again today avoided green trail and stayed on main. Followed it easily enough.  The climbs kicked my butt!  Great trail

Scored 2nd on the DH2River this evening. If there was some tach in the soil maybe I could of had it. Going try to steal all the DH points this summer Wink I think if it doesn't rain too much early next week its going be prime.

Also what's up with the trail that takes off to the left where the orange traffic cone is? I didn't have time tonight to explore down it as I was running out of daylight. Is that the same as the fresh cut to to left going up stairway?

That's a new piece we're working on. You are welcome to start putting some traffic on what's done. Now you can take the left around aways and the another left marked with a cone will put you back on the prior run so you don't have to do that part as an out and back. Or you can continue on to a spot that will be bridged if you. Tire lines will help me determine the radius on a berm I will be adding.

Steve, I wanted to ride RRT before I moved, but I've been too busy packing and working to get my trails ready for the Blazers to maintain, so I'll try to ride RRT when back down here checking on my mom, dad, kids and grandkids.
Ritchie, I think my motor needs to be rebuilt!
Jerry, it's good to hear you're back on the MTB again!

Steve, question from a recluse, what is the current mileage at your trail system?

Hey Steve, rose that new section today. Honestly in my opinion you should just leave it all off camber and let the roots come up. It was a blast and kept you on your toes, loves it and it will be a great addition to what's there.
