I was told that by my oldest son when he was pre riding it back in December. Benching parts of it are a must or it wasn't even walk-able to begin with. I would like to add some jump-able features on that downhill to the first bridge couple small trees will have to go. This piece is only a part of what is planned overall on this valley area. Besides the # of people riding RRT dropped 25% from 2014 to 2015 so I certainly don't need it to deter more this year.

I wouldn't worry about deterring riders. Keep building sweet trail!

Which new section are we talking about? I rode out there about a week ago and didnt notice anything. Are we talking about the riverview option or is more trail going in?

It is after no name as you come back around there is an orange safety cone on the left side of the trail. New section dips down that way and brings you all the way to the bottom close to where the staircase climb is then back up and around. The DH portion is pretty well cut in but after its just chopped down brush so be careful.
Steve, keep building as you have been. RRT is my favorite place to ride for the reasons most others don't. Although it always surprises me that people are "scared" to go out there, the climbs can be a little steep but they are over quick and the rest of the trail bed is fast and flowy, it really has the best mix in the area.

Awesome! I saw that cone and wondered about it. I will hold off riding until everything is officially done. Does it cut anything out or is it a loop bringing you right back to where you started?

I'm surprised that the number of riders was down in 2015, I thought I generally saw more vehicles in the parking area than the year before. My personal riding was down last year tho and I've been riding a desk non-stop for the last few months. I can hardly wait to get back out there. Thanks for building such an amazing trail, Steve.

You'll be seeing my truck in the parking lot more for sure! Thanks Steve for a very Awesome Trail! Took my buddy over the weekend that had never been and he was laughing out loudly rolling down the trails and smiling from ear to ear! He loved it and so did I! Trail is in great shape and FAST AS HELL!

Prolly seems that way cause less people are signing the waiver and paying the fee.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

Guilty. I generally drop $10-15 in randomly since I generally don't have cash on me. Hey Steve can I buy an annual pass?!

I'm guilty of this as well.... I always sign the waiver but if I'm the 10th one in the lot I'll be the 3rd to sign =D.

That's sad...who would be a thief over $3? I do (kind of) get it when you get there and don't have correct change, though since I know I'm going there it seems I should know I need $3. But I avoid that anyway because whenever I get some one's I paper clip them into groups of three and keep several of these sets in the console of my truck. I know I'll use them eventually.

The piece we've been working on is a loop now. It is a left turn marked by orange cone and rejoins shortly after where it exits. This is on the No Name Extension part. Little grooming left to be done but there it is. I've left some off camber sections per requests. There is a sweeping right turn that will have a berm at some point. This new section will be double what it is now at a later date.

It's a good down bit and some more leg workout. I think once it's ridden in it will be super good.
BTW I still like the wiley flat corners but hey that's just me.
