	Ladies and Gentlemen, You are officially invited to come ride the fine trials at Lake Norman State Park and enjoy the company of the one and only Big Bike Mike before he and his wife retire and move to Snowshoe WV. The date is Saturday March 26th. The time is not 100% official but the idea is to ride in the AM, eat lots of food for lunch, then ride again... Food is in the works right now but we need an idea of how many folks may come to finalize the details. Please post up here if you are planning on attending. More details on exact times will be forthcoming! Will

	I'm in if not traveling for work. There's a small number of folks that I could always count on to help me in my various roles within the club, and BBM is one of them. To paraphrase and tweak an old movie saying, BBM is one of the hardest working men in trail business Although he still hasn't told me which spare bedroom is ours when we come visit/mooch off him in Snowshoe

	Come on out for the picnic. Here is the plan for Saturday the 26th. -Meeting in the main trailhead parking lot @ 10 for a group ride. Probably take us a few minutes to get organized and hit the trail so more like a 10:15ish start time. Ride for about Hour and 30. -Picnic is @ noon @ the Heron Shelter, Grilling Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and will have some sort of vegetarian alternative, along with all the other cookout type options -After the Picnic and socializing we can do more group rides depending on how everyone feels So bring your bike Saturday @ 10 if you would like to ride, hangout with us at 12:00 for the picnic and help celebrate the finest trail volunteer the Charlotte/Metro area has ever seen. YOU the MAN MIKE. See everyone Saturday

	Looking forward to this event. I thought about bringing out my big bike to ride it with him on the trails, but after pedaling it up and down my street a couple times, decided it's not happening. I don't know how you do it, Mike. I enjoy letting gravity do the hard work for me when riding the lead sled, so I'll just have to ride the big bike up in Snowshoe with you!
