Come on out dicky first Thursday of da munth. Lots of other property's gittin some singletrack all over the Charlotte area. Mint  Hill, Dixie River, Mountain Island lake, Kings Mountain did I miss any?

Confirmed

12 April attended meeting with representatives from Kings St. Park, Kings Military Park, Crowders Mt., 2 Trail Solutions Reps, and an IMBA Rep.

This project is in the early planning stages and has lots of moving parts.  It will be some time.

Not sure where the 16 mile # in the article came from.  Twice that was discussed.
These were just projected numbers though.  

It is a good idea to come to meetings

Dixie River??? I read that Crescent Communities plan to build a mini-city there.

if you look at their development maps there is a large swath of land right in the middle which Crescent does not control...this swath will be the trails.

I would love to help out when the time comes to put shovel to dirt. Currently in the process of buying a house in Gastonia, about 35 min from Kings Mt.

Sigh... every time I consider this for consideration, it rarely jives.  This next meeting is the night before I leave for PMBAR.  I'll be packing and staring at my family.

The next one... I'll be in PA.

The next one, just back from VA.
