9am lake parking lot

We've got a lot of trees down from the storm and damage to the bridge below the dam on the blue trail. Come out and play with chainsaws with us. Meet in the lake parking lot (where the meeting center is) and bring water and gloves.

Bridge is fixed. Eric and I knocked it out yesterday. 

There is still a tree down in the creek that is laying across one of the anchor lines for the real bridge (the one with railings).

Thanks to Bud and Eric for clearing trees earlier in the week, and to TJ, Matt, and Mike for coming out this morning. We cleared the downed tree on the black diamond and roughed in the new section almost to the end. A few more workdays and we'll have another small loop to ride.  

ETA: 4 walkers completed a loop clearing all the downed small stuff. Great to have surprise help like that!

I'll be there next weekend, let me know if there's anything I need to bring other than some gloves and a hatred towards the one tree at beatty that almost killed me.

I won't be heading up a workday this weekend as I'll be too busy partying (my little guy is turning 5). But I'll be out there working on the new stuff Monday and Wednesday night, 5:30, if anyone wants to join me. Park at the tennis courts.
