Ibis Ripley Frame/Fork (Size Large)

I put around 800 miles on the frame, and about half that on the fork. I'm selling the Ibis Ripley frame with the following:

- Fox F34 130mm CTD fork (Push Industries seals installed by Suspension Experts)
- Cane Creek 110 Headset
- Chris King Bottom Bracket
- Cane Creek DB-Inline shock upgrade
- Arundel Other-Side-Loader Bottle Cage
- Upgraded Gnar core Eccentrics (upper and lower)

Here are a few details about the Ibis Ripley:

- Carbon fiber monocoque frame and swingarm
- 120mm rear wheel DW-link travel
- Internal TT cable routing with molded carbon cable stops
- BB92/Press GXP style integrated BB
- 142mm Maxle rear axle
- High direct mount front derailleur mounts directly on swingarm
- Designed for 29" Wheels

$2000 - PM if interested.

Surprised you're giving this up for a Rip. I demoed both and it was an easy choice for me. What's your thinking on it?

This is the first iteration of the Ripley, so I guess that makes it a 2014.  I ran a 2.3 on the back.   You might be able to get a larger tire in there, but it might rub the frame a bit.  Here are the specs:

Shredder - it's a tough choice between the RIP and the Ripley for me.   There are pros and cons on both sides.  I think the Ripley is a better bike, but the top tube on the Large  is a bit short for me.   An XL or possibly one of the new LS's would suite me better.  I will probably end up with one of those eventually, but wanted to try something different in the meantime.  The RIP doesn't like climb as well as the Ripley, but it's pretty solid on the descent.  The longer cockpit fits me better too.

I'm going to give this one last shot before resorting to eBay.  I'm willing to sell the frame and fork separately.

Ibis Ripley Large Frame - $1300
Fox 34 Float 29 fork - $450

The frame will include the headset, bottom bracket, and cable dice.

I ran a Specialized 2.3 on the rear, but I've read that some people are putting 2.4's in the back.  However, all 2.4's are not created equal.  Rim width could affect things too.
