Where: Beatty tennis court parking lot (first left in park)
When: 9am
What: Connecting the new trail section

Come help us connect the new trail section. We'll be playing with a brush hog, putting in signage, and working on the entrance/exit.

Huge Thanks to Craig, Patrick, Eric, and Justin for braving the heat and helping connect the new trail section at Beatty! It's not signed yet, but if you want to check it out it connects to the hairpin turn after crossing the road near the tennis court parking lot.

Neat link. Beside the bit of trail we lost this winter is a small pine that grows in a complete loop. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of it.

That's pretty cool!  There's one at Fisher Farm just as you start into the lower half of the main loop.  Huge Tulip Poplar that's as big around as my waist!  I'll have to share a picture of it soon. Smiley

BTW, great work and a hardy "Thank You" to all the volunteers that helped get this new section open!
