hello all I'm new here, first post. I'm looking for a small to medium frame hardtail multi gear bike. I like KONA, Jamis, Scott but open to others. 26"-27.5" rims are fine. Looking for the best bang for my $500 budget. I'm in the Columbia South Carolina area. Thank you.

Welcome the best Mountain Board on the Planet Drew! I'd gander at Craigslist searching the brands you have mentioned and keep an eye on the Marketplace on this board on a daily basis or even more often. There are deals to be had you just gotta be persistent with looking for it. Wasn't any brands you were looking for but you just missed a 27.5 bike for a steal! Good Luck Bro!
