A friend and I  took a day trip to Dupont yesterday.  As always it was an awesome trip. I've ridden there about 10 times and love the place.  If you have never been I  encourage you to check it out, you want be disappointed. 
BTW You can get a map online or pick one up at one of the local bike shops in the area but don't go without one.

Visitor center = right in the center of the park has Free maps too - Easy to grab one right there.

+100.  I'd recommend bringing a few map copies, water (duh), and some high cal food.  I always forget to bring food and regret it.
