Just wanted to have your opinion. I do bike in parks nothing too serious though. I have normal disk brakes on my trek and seems to work just fine, but someone told me that upgrading to hydraulic would make a big difference. Is it true?
Have you have ever heard of this brand TRP HY/RD CABLE-ACTUATED HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKE, they are cable actuated for road bikes is there anything similar for MTB's?

Thanks and ride safe

Hydraulic Brakes are a game changer.  Go do a demo at a local shop and see for yourself.

I've got the TRP HY/RD CABLE-ACTUATED HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKE on my cross bike.  They work well but the only reason I went with those is because there were no road bike hydraulic brake shifters on the market.  Mountain bike brakes are very reasonable with new leavers.  Bart at Queen City Cycles had some shimano take offs cheap if you are looking.  Not sure if he still has them or not.

Does it make a big difference?

Yes.

It's like wow.

Very little take up, far more precise, much more braking power and they self adjust.

Like somebody said, they are a game changer. Once you use them, you wont want to go back to cables. I've still got one bike that uses cable discs. I don't change 'em out because of the expense and because they work adequately for the cross bike I'm using them on. But occasionally, I find myself checking on prices to see if I can find a deal.
