Their will be a ride leaving from the MD parking lot at 8:30. All are welcome from beginners to advanced and Rocky. No one left behind. I was informed this week that clear cutting will start next week on the Farmbrook side. The back 1/3 will be closing until construction is done. PRP might also be closing for a bit due to the same thing.

I apologize for not being able to follow all threads, but, how much trail will be lost on the Farmbrook side? Why are they doing this? The last time I rode out there, many months ago, MD lost quite a bit of goodness. Has that been rerouted? I was considering riding there tomorrow if the rain holds out.

What will be lost is the trail that goes into the concrete culvert and a lot of the trails that are around the cars and all of this is on the tech loop. It will not be worked on or kept up until greenway construction is done. I was out looking to see where they can block off the trail with down trees. I will put up some kind of fence before you get to the service road crossing. The last ditch you go through before you cross the service road will return to the old trail that has grown over and you will continue down to the gravel road and turn right. As for the MD side the neighborhood people have put in another trail below the big retaining wall. It is very muddy down in that area. They did a very poor job with the silt fence. Last post on this until I get more info from the powers that be. Heading to a homeowners meeting tonight to fill them in and take questions.
