Does anyone have experience riding the Buffalo Creek trails, near Lake Lure?  Heading up there this weekend and wondering if it is worth taking the bike.  Thoughts?  Tips?

I'm glad that this is an environment where you feel free to fail.

Yes I've rode there and it's and awesome place, there is some climbing involved, but you  also get some steep down hill and really big berms that are very smooth and fast,  there are no berms around the CLT area like the ones there.
Last I rode there they were switching directions of the the trail depending on the day.   It is totally worth taking a bike and riding.
