UNCC Cycling Club?

So I recently was accepted into the UNCC MBA program and I was wondering if anyone out there was interested in starting a cycling club/race team to compete in collegiate cycling/MTB racing or even just do some group rides. I helped start the MTB team at Wake Forest as an undergrad but was too late to race any myself. Anyway, let me know if there is any interest out there, let's make this happen!

Hey Russell, I am in my sophomore year at UNCC. There is a cycling club but the guy in charge doesn't really do anything but post articles. There has been some talk over the summer of taking it over and starting some racing, which I would love, but nothing has happened yet. I'm going to try to get a group ride together sometime soon. The Facebook page is called UNC Charlotte Cyclists. 
I would love to meet up and ride sometime soon! Supposedly there's a trail on campus somewhere with a good bit of jumps, but I haven't looked for it yet.

The trail is pretty much along WT Harris between the Hospital and University Blvd. It used to be pretty awesome many years ago before all the building chopped up and destroyed a lot of the trail along North Tryon. Better where your big boy shorts when doing the "Jump Line" near WT Harris as it is pretty SICK! A little bit of the XC trail is connected to the upper and lower of the jump line. Have FUN!

Sent you a PM caleb, would love to get it goin! Still seems a bit crazy to me the club is inactive. UNCC is such a big school and Charlotte seems like a cycling town.
