Has anybody found the source of the smell on the lake loop? Smells like someone dumped a body out there.  I'm afraid to look around  Tongue

The thunderhut in the parking lot was particularly offensive yesterday, and the water looked like it had been recently changed. I almost barfed when I walked in. Smelled like a dead animal.

Maybe the trail was built on old Indian burial grounds. Or like here in Statesville. We have a trail that was built on a old landfill. And another built right next to a active landfill. You go up north, when landfills get 200+ feet. They add chairlifts, and then you get to ski/board on them

Saw a big-dead-bloated-floating deer in the pond yesterday.

so did I - anyone know if there's someone we should report that to?  its not that big of a pond to absorb an entire dog.
