Sea Eagle Kayak

I have a Sea Eagle SE 330 inflatable kayak that has been collecting dust since I bought a different one.

I used this very little.  It's been in Lake Norman a couple of times and a handful of times in the marsh for fishing.  I bought it to try fishing the marsh and it is so compact that it was stored in a closet in the condo.  We secured some storage shortly after that so I bought a different (plastic) kayak that I rigged for fishing.

It works great, just as advertised and does not leak.  I have never had any issues.  Everything pictured is included.

It looks like Walmart sells it for $254.87 shipped.  I would like $160.

You can check it out on Sea Eagle's website : (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Shoot me a PM or give me a call at 98 zero 215 283 seven.

I don't have any of it inflated but you can see it inflated on the manufacturer's site along with some videos.

I will gladly inflate it for anyone that wants to purchase it.  There is an instructional video that shows the process well.  It only takes a few minutes and you use a gauge (included) to determine proper inflation pressure.

I hope that helps.

Hey folks,

I'm getting a lot more interest and questions than I expected.  Here are some additional comments for anyone that is interested.

- it has two small skegs on the bottom to help with tracking
- it fits easily in the trunk of a car
- made to carry two people but if you go by yourself you simply inflate one instead of two.  The seats are removable so they aren't in the way if you are by yourself.
- It states that it will handle Class III rapids

The bottom line is that it is a great compromise if you have limited space to store or haul a kayak.  That's why I bought it initially.  You can buy better kayaks for a particular purpose(ie fishing like I did) but then you have other issues to deal with by owning a non-inflatable.  I'm happy to discuss this as I've done it and I'm doing it.

I haven't used it in a stream but I would think that it would do really well in this environment, probably even better than a lake.

I hope that is helpful.

I have a similar Sea Eagle kayak, use it on Lake Norman and can vouch for everthing EPK has stated.   Just the fact that you can stuff it in a bag and take it with you anyplace is a bonus.

I've had mine for several years, and never had a problem.

Well, after all the interest, it's still for sale.

Anyone interested at $150.00?

It's a cheap way to get on the water.
