Emily, what kind of help do you need? I'm coming down Saturday morning early, but I'm not bringing a bike with me. I'm riding LNSP Monday with David Rodden and I'm riding his SS 29'r. I'm picking up my wheels for my "Big Bike" that he put hubs in for me. I could come help if I could walk and help if you need someone? I volunteered for the nationals for college finals a few weeks back and it was cold and snowy. I got a job this winter being a lift attendant at Snowshoe which will start November 19th. I should be free for Sunday to come hang out and see old friends. Hope to see you !

I am actually not sure what they need in particular. Usually they need course marshals and people to help score and also help breakdown and set up. I won't be able to make it out to this race either so just posting it on behalf of the organizers. If you can make it I am sure they would appreciate it and if you don't have a bike with you I am sure you could still help with certain things.

Emily thanks for the post again.

Yes, Jamie could always use the help whether you have a bike or not.  He said he will be there around 9:00 and the races should start around 10:00.  Hope you can make it.

I wish I could be there to help too. Would also enjoy showing BigBikeMike the trail too.  I would like to hear what he thinks of the trail.

Final youth race a success(however we could of used help at break down Cry)........now for a few weeks off, then it's onto Winter Short Track, the kick off to the NICA of NC sanction (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) and more CYCL (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) racing come Spring. Now's the time to get involved in the future of mountain biking, the future leaders and members of the Trailblazers and more!

Sorry I didn't make it out  there Sunday, but I was pretty busy with visiting all my family on such a short trip. I did get to ride LNSP Saturday and really enjoyed the trails. I haven't ridden a bike since August 26th but I wasn't in bad a shape that I thought I might have been. It was nice to see some riding buddies I have seen in a while!!
