Hi guys. 
I have a basically new 2016 Santa Cruz Bronson CS in Matte Carbon (flat black) that I'd consider trading for a 27.5 carbon Nomad. Mine is a size medium with top of the line S trim level and I'm looking for a medium Nomad as well. The only visible wear is an area small scratches on the right side of the rear triangle and a little rash on the rear derailleur, both are very minor. Other than that it looks new. I've upgraded the brakes and rotors to Shimano Zee with 203 IceTech rotors front and rear and the shock to a Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3 Debonair. Tires are tubeless, 27.5x2.4 Maxxis Ardent with less than 20miles on them. I still have the SLX brakes/rotors and the Fox Float Performance factory shock, in case our values aren't equal. 

Any trade considered must be like new and the new VPP geometry. Anyone interested please let me know and I can send pics.

Honestly, the biggest reason is that I'm just never happy keeping what I have for any length of time. Always wanting to try something new. The Bronson is an awesome bike and probably much more suited for Charlotte than a Nomad. I'm sure most would argue the 150mm 27.5" Bronson is too much bike for most of the Charlotte area. I'm not a speed demon though or weight conscious (those of you who've met me can see that,Lol...). I come from a freeride background, riding a Kona Stinky Primo back in the day, so the extra suspension travel appeals to me. Guess I like the plushness of pedaling a couch through the woods! I really like drops and jumps and I plan to visit some of the bike parks this year too. Again, I'm sure the Bronson can hold hold it's own even in the severe stuff but I'm thinking the Nomad would work great too. 


So if one pops up, guess I'll have to make a decision. Right now I'm just kicking around the idea of a trade. Am I crazy for thinking this way?

Definitely not! Nomads are great bikes and even though they probably aren't the most efficiently compared to an XC bike, they are actually pedal pretty well... and when it comes to the downhill there aren't many non-DH bikes out there that come even close.
