Reverb Bounce

So we had a Reverb on my wifes bike.  As it's started getting colder it won't actuate like it should which I'm fairly certain just means it needs a bleed.  However, it does also have that 1-2" bounce at the top.  Correct me if I'm wrong but a bleed won't do anything for that right, isn't that just a defect in the post?

Bleed it then try.  If it still has an issue, it will likely need a rebuild.

Do you get a service kit or the full rebuild kit?

Service kit.  Sounds like you have air in the IFP - you now have an expensive suspension post!  It's not the worst thing to rebuild but take your time and make sure you follow the directions to a T.  You will need some syringes, oil, slick honey and the IFP height tool.  Good luck!

I had this problem and mine was replaced under warranty. May want to check with where you purchased it.
