OK, what's the deal... from what I saw this morning I clearly remember it was closed today.  Now status says "Open" - 12/20/16 7am.  Today is 12/19??  Was this preemptively done for tomorrow or is this a mistake?  Is it really open?

Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.

When updating trail status the forum requires entering the date. Looks like the trail coordinator simply entered the wrong date.

I'm glad that this is an environment where you feel free to fail.

Yes. I see trail statuses like this all the time, as some would rather post it in the evening than first thing in the morning, so the early risers can plan a morning ride.

Park staff update the trail status for Lake Norman.  They are really on top of it too!  The trails are great out there right now, rode them on Saturday.  It was cold, but had to get some laps in before everything changes direction in the new year.

Me too, Will! But time is running out for me. I'll be down that way next Friday and Saturday (30th and 31st) but no time to play.
I want to wish all the Tarheel Trailblazers a Merry Christmas and hope to see some of my friends some time soon!!

Yes indeed.  First time I rode the new sections in this direction and they were great... so much flow.... but, so is the rest of LNSP!  Thanks to all the volunteers!
