"Sidewinder"...after a similar halfpipe-style trail at the Kingdom Trails in Vermont. Which in turn was named after the sidewinder snake.

x2 for Hacksaw Bridge.  Fisher Farm's already got a Thunder Road.

Rode Rocky River last night - can't give enough props to Steve for his trail work and fantastic conditions, the place was hooked up!  Also, nice work fixing the small erosion issues on the side of the gorge climb.

Thank you - the trail rocks!

X2  The trail is now long enough, varied enough, and with enough options available that you can cut and piece it together to have any kind of ride you want. And in another month or so the mountain laurel will be blooming on the River View Option. I never had seen it in bloom until last year. RRT is totally unique. Kudos to the trail maestro!

Rode there yesterday with a group of guys; probably most pack I've seen the parking lot (our group had 6 and there were 3-4 other groups of 4+).

My vote for naming of Heartbreak II - "The Commitment", due to once you're on it, you're on it.

I'm not going to lie... I b*tched out in the middle of heartbreak II (after first drop) as I didn't realize those drops were even there, so the first one took me by surprise.  Well a little word of advice is don't attempt the trail unless you're "committed" to doing the drops - because once you're up there the easiest / safest way is going down it on your bike.

Hindsight is 20/20 and now that I'm not skeered it doesn't seem as bad.  However, just rolling up on something like that with no previous knowledge will definitely make you question your abilities.

We finally did the 5th and 6th bridges on Sunday.  Steep drops before them, but manageable if you don't rocket over the top and stay off your brakes once headed down.

Commitment is the key, and momentum is your friend.  Steve happened to be there and talked us into doing the 5th and 6th bridge.  Awesomeness!
