BYT trail cleared start to finish.  Be careful, just finished blowing it today so ground is a bit wet from the leaf cover.   Should be perfect in a day or so.

Thank you !

Edit @ 11:25am: Saw your post and decided to ride BYT instead of driving all the way to LNSP. Not even sure exactly what "start to finish" at BYT even is LOL, but every inch I rode was great! Thanks again!

Did you get all the drains and all down slopes? I just saw this post. I will head out tonight to get them if you didn't. Please let me know when you or anyone else goes out to work so it only gets done once. I don't live anywhere close to BYT. Im 7 to 8 miles past Sherman. Thanks for blowing it off. Let me know ASAP if you got drains and down slopes so I can go home tonight instead of running around with a light on my head and looking like pig pen with all the dust flying around. I also heard we got a 2,000 dollar grant from someone who rides BYT a lot. Well that is going to go to more jumps and wood structures at least that what I have planned.

Didn't hear anything so I will be out tonight on the front 1/3 until 8 or 9 going over it again and clearing drains. Gman keep your hours and send them to me so I can send them on to Emily.

Scott, in the sections that I rode (mostly middle third) the trail was nicely cleared, but I don't recall seeing a lot of drain clearing. I was trying to focus on not crashing my bike though. Not sure why you're intent on going out there in the dark... maybe wait until some others have weighed in?
Undecided

I just finished riding there and it all seemed pretty clear to me. Actually it was riding real nice. I clocked 9.6 miles. I'm never sure I ride everything there though as there seem to be cut throughs and trails leading off all over the place lol. Not sure about drains though as I was focusing on just getting through my ride.

Got done around 8. Thanks Gman nice job! While I was out I went ahead and hit it again and got all the drains, down slopes and creek beds. Got almost all of the front 1/3 done. 3 tanks of gas run through the blower. Gman what you blew off was the top layer and by uncovering the bottom layer I took it off tonight. It seemed to dry enough to really get back to dirt. If you would like me to show you what drains and downslope are let me know and I will show you. Or take a look while you are out riding and see what I blew off and out. Thanks again for helping out that is a long walk with a blower and gas. Lots and lots of red yellow and white reflectors everywhere. Pat it is pretty fun blowing off trail at night. You don't have to worry about people pulling Strava laps and no one bothers you. The other things I saw were eyes of little animals running around all over the place. Will be back at it tomorrow night if rain permits. I also blew off the tabletop jumpline in the front 1/3 all the little marbles and carpet are cleaned off. Will get the gap line and return trail next. If anyone would like to join in on the fun post up and charge your light. NC paya there is an established route that the signs are for and you can take the shortcuts if you like but I don't blow off those little trails to keep the regular route established.

Yeah i got a cool idea that should be pretty easy using the remnants of a previous feature along with a little dirt from the mounds the construction crews have created while cutting the greenway.  assuming it rains on sunday i'll probably try to get started late am that day.  it's all in close quarters too on the lowest section of the middle third where it parallels little sugar creek.

Sounds cool... New Year's Day won't work for me as it turns out. Good luck with it... I'll see you next time.
