I recently moved here from CO and am super impressed by the work that you are all doing on the trails! I have only been on N. Meck, Fisher and Sherman so far, but I cannot wait to see what else is in store out here. Must admit though, the man made contraptions are a nice touch but WAY different than anything you might see on Colorado. Awesome though!
Thanks again to all of you who are putting work in on the trails.

Paul

Right on Paul!  We've got a great trail building and riding community here.  Check out Lake Norman State Park for another trail in the north region.  30 miles of single track makes for some great rides.

...and while you're in the Sherman area sometime, check out Rocky River Trail. It's about 7 or 8 miles north of Sherman and is an old school hand-built trail full of character and elevation change. Don't leave your legs or lungs at home though; you'll need them both!

+1 on RRT, a great trail but not for the weak legged.  And of course the US National Whitewater Center which has a great network of trails

Do you stop and check to see if your wheels are not spinning freely too?
