Need a starter for a friend's 12 yr old girl - 5' 6"-7". She wants to ride with her Dad. 

Also , if you have a good idea what size bike might fit best, please reply.

I have a Gary Fisher Tass that is an XS custom build. It has X7 9 speed shifters and derailleurs, Avid Juicy hydraulic disc brakes and a Manitou air fork that my daughter just grew out of.  I would want $300 for the bike.
