Round 2 Match ups

LNSP                                                      Uwharrie NF
  vs                                                           vs
Renaissance                                           Rocky River

Fisher/Allison                                         Beatty Park
  vs                                                          vs
Sherman                                               BYT/Park Rd.

Same idea as before, can vote for multiple trails but if you vote for 2 in the same match up you are canceling yourself out.

Come on Sherman, I believe in you. Show that 30 mile trail who's boss.  Cheesy

Although I'm more than okay if sherman loses to LNSP.

How Rocky River is marginally ahead of Uwharrie I will never be able to comprehend. The only thing about Uwharrie that sucks is that its not closer. A big part of riding experience for me is getting out into nature, Uwharrie does that. RR is a good trail for weekday riding, but its goofy AF.

In Brevard, where our good friends from the Pisgah SORBA chapter build and maintain them
Not Trailblazer trails but I love to go ride there just the same

I am in the minority but I actually prefer most any other trail to Sherman.  Sherman is still awesome, don't get me wrong, but it's not my cup of tea mainly because of the bike I have.

I ride a trail bike with 150mm up front, and 140mm in the rear and my bike is just way too much to really enjoy Sherman (big heavy tires too).  If I had a hardtail 29er it would be a different story.

That's easy enough to fix. Wink

Good point about Sherman, not the best place for large heavy bikes. The nimbler the better.
Glad I got a small/medium 26er, the best wheel size  Wink

Come on Sherman, ya got this

I had to pick RRT over URE as it is near the house and is one of the toughest trails around.

If you want to feel out in the middle of nowhere, ride RRT at night. Just don't let the gnomes sneak up on you!

Its looking like we will have RRT vs BYT up next. Thats a tough one... arguably the two trails with the most "character". Then Sherman vs. LNSP, the battle of the flow trails.

Even though I voted for RRT, I'm kinda surprised the outcome was so one sided...

Edit: On second thought, I guess it was the closest matchup. I really thought it would be decided by 1 or 2 votes though.

Too bad Paddys Creek/Lake James isn't on the list.....hands down it would have won the "Flow Trail " division.    This is some pretty stuff tho.   Beatty deserves more love,....fun place.
