2 x 10 to 1x11

Looking to upgrade from a 2x10 setup to a 1x11. Currently have a SRAM PG1030 cassette (11-36 teeth) and SRAM  S-1250 crank.
Looking to go with a SRAM  PG-1130 (11-42) and a race face narrow wide 32 tooth. Can anyone tell me if I can just remove and replace the cassette or is anything required to go from a 10 speed to 11?
Also will I need new/different bolts to attach the race face to my crank?
(Also replacing the rear derailleur with SRAM NX 11 speed with new chain and shifter)
Thanks in advance for your help!

To go to a sram 11 speed you will have to have a 11 speed derailleur, a XD driver to use the cassette, and shifter.   You may need single speed or bmx chain ring bolts if the current ones got through both rings (can't remember if they do or not on a 2x)

You could do shimano 11 speed and not have to change the free hub on your wheel but you still need the derailleur and shifter.

Is there a reason you want to go 1x11 versus 1x10?

Its waaaay cheaper (and just as much range IMO) to go 1x10 with a 42-48t (even 50t) on the cassette.

No need to buy a new anything except the extra big cog... and maybe a new limit screw.

....But you will need pretty much 11 speed specific everything except crank assuming it can handle a single ring.

I thought the same thing, but apparently SRAM now makes an 11-42 cassette (not 10-42) that uses a standard 8/9/10 speed driver body. The one the OP listed is "non-xD compatible". In truth, you could go budget SRAM or Shimano and get the same gear range. Just because your cranks are SRAM, there's no reason you cant go Shimano 11 speed. If your dead set on 11 speed, and don't prefer one or the other, I would say price out both and see what makes the most sense.

May want to check out those wide range 10 speed Sunrace cassettes too.

I stand corrected.  For once sram copied shimano instead of the other way around.
