I was out at PRP today and checked out the progress on the greenway. They just finished the framework for the bridge over the tributary creek just north of Archdale. It's made of large PT lumber, and there's a pile of leftovers just off the greenway itself.

Good stuff... some 6X10 lumber that would make great bridge footings or whatever. Also some nice telephone poles. You can drive right up to it from the softball diamond, and I was tempted but didn't want to get in trouble.

Does anyone (Scott? David?) know how to get in touch with the builders and ask permission to grab it? I am leaving town Wednesday but could go out there one evening in the next couple days...

See pic...

It's going to the tech loop in the order it currently sits at PRP!  It's a new feature called 'The Woodpile' .. and it's a pile of wood.

Hey, how long are those Telephone poles?  If they are too long for a Truck bed then they will need to be moved with a long trailer.
DO NOT MOVE THEM WITH A TRUCK IF IT HANGS OUT THE BACK

You can move them in a truck as long as you don't go past the tipping point in the bed of the truck and put a red flag on the end of them. Not a problem.

I think the poles were in the 5-10 foot range.

Scott, have you seen this?
