A big thank you to the girl and guy who stopped to help me after I ran into a tree at high speed on the big downhill on Monbo. Also, thanks to the Trailblazer who loaded my bike onto my rack in the lot. Turns out I broke my collarbone, off the bike for 4-6 weeks. The pain meds are kicking in now, but I want to thank everyone who asked how I was doing.

I appreciate it. And Mark, I don't think I'll make the next few work days, unless you need someone to hand out beers.

Update: Doc says no muscles torn, break is clean and should heal well without surgery.  Thanks again for all of the well wishes. Doc also said I can start riding a stationary bike within a week or two.

I've broken both my collar bones twice, so here is my advice. Take it easy. My last break was because of a bike crash, combined with a posterior shoulder dislocation. Take it easy and don't push it like I did. Did they give you the infamous sling to rotate your shoulder back? If so, wear it.
