Mid cage XO with 11-42 cassette issues

I am trying to set up my 1x10 with a 11-42 Sunrace cassette. The rear derailleur is a med cage XO and doesn't seem to like going into the biggest cogs even with the B screw all the way in.

It will shift into the cogs but makes a chunky sound like the pulley wheel is hitting the cog.

Any thoughts?

Longer B-screw...

I got one from SRAM for my XO derailleur. I kept bending the alloy one supplied with the derailleur so they sent me a longer steel one.

Good as gold now.

Easy trick is to take the one you have and thread it in from the other side. Makes it a pain to adjust but it will do the job.

Thanks. I might try that. I bought a longer one from Blackhawk Hardware, installed it, got close to shifting right and then the bolt slipped off the tab and bent to &^&^. I had to dremmel it in half to remove it without stripping the thread on the der body. I pulled to wide range cassette and but the 11-38 back on and it shifted effortlessly. Now I will probably sell the 11-42 and just ride harder.
