Join us to for a work day to tune up some trail at Lake Norman State Park! Look for the Trialblazers tent in the parking lot,. We're getting started at 8am and will call it quits by 12pm. Some folks may ride after the work is done. Bring water, gloves and snacks. Tools will be provided!

If God is working the grill, maybe He can transport me to the park to help with trail work?

Great turnout this weekend!  We had 7 volunteers, including Evan St Clair on the mini-ex.  32 total man/woman hours on a beautiful Saturday Morning.

A big thanks to Jason Duckworth who has been stepping up recently to help with trail work at LKN!

We will be back at it for the next couple of weeks to get the last couple of turns on the final section of Laurel tuned up.

As always there will be trail gnomes out here at the park doing work on other projects throughout the year.  So if you are one of the people feeling guilty about not being able to help then there is still time to get your hand dirty  Wink

Will, that trail work looks great and will be lots of fun. I wish I could have come down and helped, but my time is being spent playing nurse to my injured wife for awhile.
The crew started playing off the trails here at Snowshoe this morning in preparation for opening day later in May. I'm getting excited! Keep up the good work trail gnomes!!

3 years was long enough for me to be a quiet trail gnome with a folding saw.  Happy to be involved.

Any chance someone could use the Mini Ex to update the doubles on the Wildlife Loop? And since it would be there, may be ad a few tables in that section? Thanks in advance.

I look forward to you guys dialing in the double in the berms at the end.  I doubt anyone is cleaning the way it is, well maybe Evans son and a few other prodigies are able.  It will be fun when fixed.

Maybe you guys could extend the small table right before the berms as well.  I am happy to come help, so I will make an effort to be there the next trail work day.  If there is anyone working on trails during the week I am usually around to help if you give me a day or two notice.

Thanks for what you all do.
