	Hey i want to find if there is someone in the group that wants to join an over 50 out of shape guy (just discovered i am sooo out of shape). I am not fun to be with for a pro, he will have to complete 30 laps before I end one but for a beginner or recreational i could be a great partner. It would be also nice to be with a pro sometimes so that he can teach me how to approach certain terrains. Thanks David

	I'll be happy to ride with you sometime. I'm also over 50, also named David and been riding about 3-1/2 years. I'm not the fastest guy, not the slowest but always trying to have the most fun - except when I crash. I usually ride Sherman, Beatty or WWC but like just about everything. PM me some time on a weekend or evening if you want to hook up. Then I'll recruit you for some trail work at Sherman in exchange

	DG, I'll show you around Cane Creek some time if you can get down that way sometime in the morning.. Lay'd back fun, sensible pace. I ride during the week and on the weekends. If you don't have a pass, it's $4 to park.

	Post up a 50+ out of shape ride, I'd join! Once I heal up from the collar bone fracture.

	Will you older fellas allow a 49 year old to tag along. I'm not very fast yet but I have a little skill. Post up a ride and I will see what I can do. I work over on Westinghouse and get out around 4:30.

	I do the Cane Creek thing in the mornings 2 to 4 times a week (9 or 10 am or earlier depending upon the heat). During the week and on weekends.. I ride steady, but I don't ride for time or speed. I do hard tails, FS and SS. Some days I ride 5 miles, some days 10+. To me, every ride is a good ride. Just let me know.

	I'm an old folk who rides slower than slow. Usually ride Big Leaves Slop or Itusi.

	Cane creek 100 miles for me also. 5 min to Sherman and RRT 54 min to Uwharrie and 45 to BYT. But I would like to ride at some point and time. I am going to find the time to ride but working 3 jobs and keeping up BYT takes a lot of my time and $$$$ comes first right now. Saving up for something special! If the weather is nice a friend of mine is coming down from the mountains and we are going to ride all 3 sides BYT/PRP/MD. Going to hurt but I can make it or cramp trying.
