Congrats Emily and Scott .  I was a scratch.  I was up there trying to lend support but congats to everyone who participated this year.  It was a particular difficult year!

And a shout out to Charlotte too for representing so well.  Lots of Charlotte Riders and lots of Charlotte Volunteers manning the checkpoints.

It was a beast this year as it should be so it was totally awesome.

Emily Is a machine! she reminds me of the first terminator. constant, relentless drive to the final goal no matter what is in her way. Hiking, rain, cold, belly deep water, ridding a lot of hills and even more hiking. Nothing fazed her, job well done.  It was a privilege to ride with her.
