I intend to open in time for the RiverJam crowd and the demo's.  Conditions are marginal at best.  The HUGE storm that blew over late yesterday afternoon drowned everything again.  We've been clearing drains and armoring soft spots as hard as we can for the last 3 days, but it's still soggy out there.

Lee -
You guys are killing it...  Thanks for making these trails the best of Charlotte.
The majority of the trail is primo.  Most of the soggy spots are the silt basins.  If you guys clear out the silt collection points the trails will dry out much quicker. The rest of the problem areas can be addressed uphill by diverting the water around the chronic wet spots.

Keep doing what you guys are doing...  I owe you and your team a debt thanks... which I can convert to beer(s)... say the word.

I was out there last night on the all weather track and it showed no real signs of dampness... but there is a lot of washed out sections. I'm guessing the same holds true for the trails.

The money is still going with them opening in time for river jam.

I rode most everything last night and thought the trail was pretty prime with the exception of the out & back section of the thread trail which is a pretty common issue.  The rest I thought was in great shape and not particularly slick in any way.
