anyone know why the hex cap on the damper side of fox fork would undo itself and get loosened?

May be egg/oval shaped and you just can't notice it. Has it only come loose one time?   You can contact fox and see if they will warranty it. I just had mine done couple months ago.

I think it has been loose several times. I first noticed when my lockout  switch was in a different  angle. Not sure if it is a common problem.

I'd recommend you post this in "Gear and Tech" instead of in here.  More likely to get the answers you're looking for.  Smiley
