I see both BYT and Renaissance are listed as "Closed" although the date stamp is from a couple days ago. Are these still accurate? I ate too much this weekend and need to burn some fat.

Trail status is only updated when the status changes.  It's correct and up to date. Smiley

Local intel has it like this:  PRP is completely dry.  BYT is still damp, wet in some of the usual spots.  Should be fine for tomorrow.  Not sure about renni..

Is anyone who has access to the trail status' going to update BYT or provide some insight as to why it's closed?  I see it still says closed since 5/22.  I've personally been out there on foot and spoken with other people who have rode and it's been fine for a couple days now.  And we took a social ride over there before last Thursday's meeting.

Great, thanks Mark.  Unless there is any objection let's open it up!  I'm going out this afternoon with another local gnome to clear a couple areas of debris but trail surface is in good shape.

Go ahead, the chains are down.

The tech loop is still closed so please do not ride that section until I get permission from Scott, and Park and Rec as to when it can be reopened.

I'm moving to Austin TX in July so need to replace me on Web status.  I'm also staying out of there currently due to the poison ivy situation.  Going to miss the old BYT.

I believe the chains should be up and status "closed" at the BYT based on rains from last night... thanks to everyone who is responsible for/ does work on this front.

Agreed, perhaps someone can formally settle who is now responsible for updating the BYT status on here.  i can put the chains up after work unless anyone gets to them before that.

Was out tooling around the greenway and scoping PRP/BYT this morning.  BYT has a ways to go, still moving water on parts of the trail surface and drainage areas.  very spongy where the water isnt moving.  Wouldn't expect it to be rideable until Sunday.   

PRP drains like a champ but won't be rideable till tomorrow at the earliest.  Greenway is mostly passable just be careful where rocks haven't been laid, some gnarly mud.
