Yellow jackets at Beatty

Was working on a perpetually muddy spot near the end of Chigger Hollow (black diamond with the ski jump) and scooped up a shovel full of yellow jackets. Ran like hell and only got stung once but they were definitely pissed. Just keep moving and I'm sure you'll be fine.  Smiley

I'll get out there and hit em with something at some point this week.

I've said it before but, the soapy water method is very effective at destroying ground nests of yellow jackets. Just be sure to do it at night when they are all dormant in the nest. Also be sure you have located and blocked off all secondary entry/exit points for the nest.

Do I set the soapy water on fire? Instructions unclear.

That would be the gasoline method. Equally effective; much more exciting to watch. Also about 1000x more likely to burn the woods down.

I've got about 2 gallons of stale gas that I can't run through the mower that I need to get rid of... just sayin'
