	On a more serious note, it depends on your riding style. I'm more of a 'dirt roadie'. (xc racer). I really prefer a lighter quicker handling bike. I've ridden several longer travel bikes and have come away unimpressed- especially given the terrain in this area. In your shoes, I'd test a few different bikes out and see what you like best.

Mark definitely delivers on shop taking care of those who buy bikes from him. Basically what I'm saying is if you buy a bike from him he will service it and even upgrade it for free! Forever!!! On a serious note: His shop and service are awesome and he deserves a lot of credit for being consistent in this.

I've been offered a good deal on a trance 2 at two different shops close to me. Both shops have it as their last trance and just happen to be my size. Not sure whether or not to pull the trigger.

	All I can say is save yourself some grief and money and visit a bike shop represented here. They can put you on the right bike the first time.
