2013 Stumpjumper (SJ) FSR Elite with Upgrades – Large – $1,800
Text me for additional pictures or for more immediate follow-up: seven 0 four 930 eight 759

SJ Alloy frame with higher end components that include a Dropper Seat post, TALAS Fox fork (130mm / 105mm travel), Brain shock, XTR RD, etc. Since purchasing, I made several upgrades / changes (e.g., Saint Brakes, X0 Frt Der, Hope Threaded Bottom Bracket, setup as Tubeless Tires, etc.). I switched out the original XTR Rear Derailleur and SLX Trigger Shifters after a few rides with SRAM Grip Shifters – as the SRAM Grip Shifters have some wear, as a bonus, I will include the nearly new XTR RD / SLX Trigger Shifters. If preferred, I can switch out the SRAM shifter / RD with the XTR Rear Der. and SLX shifters before shipping. New Maxxis High Roller II EXO TR tires have been installed, and a new KMC X10SL-TI (Gold) Chain will be included.

I purchased the 2013 SJ FSR Elite in the summer of 2013 and based on Strava, it has just over 1000 miles on it. I purchased a shorter travel bike for local trails two years ago, and the SJ FSR has seen limited use. Last year I installed more robust tires on the SJ, and I would ride the SJ when the trails were damp, when I could benefit from the additional traction. While the stock wheels are included, they have seen limited use, as I originally switched them out for a different set of wheels – the replacement wheels are now on another frame, and the original wheels are back and have few marks on them. Overall, frame is in very solid shape and paint still looks very good - there are some scrapes from normal use. I will send pix of most significant scrapes that are on the left hand side of the chain stay.

I regularly used travel adjustment feature of the TALAS fork, using the longer (130mm) travel setting for intermediate or above trails, and switching to shorter (105mm) travel when on flatter trails / longer climbs. The Dropper Seat post has been very useful, especially when the terrain is variable or when you need to react quickly.

Below is a summary of the technical details / components from the Specialized website, but I have made updates to reflect the changes I made to the SJ Elite:

The 130mm M5 hydroformed frame with 29er Trail geometry, plus a Fox/Specialized remote Brain shock with AUTOSAG, Fox TALAS CTD Evolution fork, Shimano SAINT disc brakes and a 142+ wheelset makes the SJ FSR Elite 29 one of the fiercest bikes on the trail.
•      M5 alloy FSR frame with 29er geometry with 130mm of travel, full-cartridge bearing pivots, PF30 BB, Brain mount on seatstay and 142mm dropouts makes an amazingly stiff, light, and agile trail bike. [Upgraded PF30 BB to a Hope Threaded PF46 Bottom Bracket, which eliminated BB squeak]
•      FOX/Specialized Brain shock with ground-breaking AUTOSAG feature, Trail Tuned inertia valve damping, Brain Fade, and adjustable rebound lets riders dial in the perfect combination of pedaling efficiency and bump compliance
•      FOX TALAS CTD Evolution 29 series has an adjustable air spring with two-position travel between 130/105mm, rebound adjust and lockout, 15mm thru-axle and a tapered steerer tube for precise and plush performance
•      Roval 29 rims mated to Specialized Hi Lo hubs, a 142+ rear hub spacing, and 12mm thru-axle increase wheel stiffness for more confident riding. [Nearly new – Swapped out the wheels soon after purchasing the SJ. The replacement wheels are on other MTB, and the original wheels are back on].
•      New Maxxis High Roller II EXO TR tires (front & rear) – Setup as tubeless.
•      Custom SRAM S2200 carbon double XC crankset with 36/22 gearing is built for strong, yet lightweight performance; custom carbon chainring guard
•      Specialized 720mm-wide, alloy XC Mini-Riser handlebar ideal for 29er handling and position
•      Saddle: WTB Rocket with Titanium Rails [Upgraded Specialized Cr-Mo seat]
•      Specialized Command Post BlackLite uses a remote lever to adjust the saddle height on-the-fly to maximize climbing and descending performance
•      Shifters: SRAM Grip Shift X.0 with Oury Mountain Grips. Shifters are showing some wear from turning SJ upside down. BONUS: Shimano SLX 10-speed trigger shifters will be included.
•      Front Derailleur: SRAM X0 [Upgraded from SRAM x7]
•      Rear Derailleur: SRAM X9 Type 2, 10-speed, long cage with SRAM Grip Shift X.0. BONUS: Will include Shimano XTR Shadow Plus long cage, 10-speed rear derailleur – Original RD that was replaced with SRAM Type 2 rear derailleur after a few rides (Wanted SRAM Grip Shifters).
•      Brakes: Shimano Saint M820 Disc Brake and Shimano Ice Tech rotors [Upgraded from Avid Elixir 5 SL & HS1 Rotors]
•      KMC X10SL 10 SPEED CHAIN [Upgraded from KMC X10 chain] / BONUS: Replacement KMC X10SL-TI (Gold) Chain included.
•      Shimano XTR M980 10 Speed MTB Cassette [Upgraded from SRAM PG-1050]

Peddles not included.
