Hey, everyone.  We're gonna do some regular maintenance on Fisher Farm this coming Sunday, July 16th at 8:30 until 11:30-12:00.  Bring gloves, long pants, boots and plenty of water.  There is water at the park as well and be prepared to sweat!! Smiley

No tools or experience necessary.

Hope to see y'all there!

Hey, this is my fist post, and was going to create a new thread.  However, I thought this should be posted under here to keep the forum clean.  I saw fisher farms was open as of 1200 today.  I went and rode it.  I split off the main loop to old blue, and it old blue was mostly fine.  I did notice some branches and sticks on the trail.  I moved the ones I noticed and could off of the trail.  I then reconnected with the main loop, and it was fine.  I went into the enchanted forest, and there's a few branches down there that I could not move.  I split off to the Hare loop, and at the beginning there is a branch down.  It is pretty big, and I moved it as far off as I could.  There is another branch however that I was unable to move in the same place.  It will most likely needcut.  I ended up walking most of it to avoid damaging the trail and removed all the sticks and branches I could.  There are still a lot of branches down that I could not move.  If this isn't a good place to post, let me know and I'll create a new thread.  I met Mr. Sullivan (Mark) I believe at fisher farms, and went to his shop.  He told me to join here.  I'm the guy that is looking to get back into racing.  Thanks!  Just wanted to let people know so they don't get hurt.

Thanks, man!  I saw the same things you were talking about and we're gonna address those issues on Sunday.  As far as the mud on Wild Hare, don't worry about riding it.  That section you're not gonna hurt as it's pretty isolated.

Hope to see you on Sunday morning!

Looking forward to digging some dirt at the farm tomorrow morning!  I'm gonna throw a water melon in the cooler with some ice for our after work entertainment/refreshment. Wink

Thanks to all the dedicated volunteers that came out yesterday morning!  Thanks to Chris, Chris and Chris. Shocked  (Yes, half of the 6-7 man crew was a Chris. Wink )  Tom, James and Jon.  Got 90% of the drainage issues addressed but still have a couple of trouble spots on the upper part of the trail.  Dragged the new Bobcat and blade out to clear drainage along the fire road exit which should last for 4 or 5 years.

And the cold watermelon was well received!

Thanks!!
